25.08.2017. Environmental impact assessment of land consolidation projects

Zorica Isoski, general manager of Aurora green participated at training-workshop: “The plan of common and public facilities with environmental impact assessment” which was held in the Niš, from August 22 to 23, 2017, organized by German Technical Cooperation Organization (GTZ) in partnership with Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management.

The aim of the training was introduction of participants with the new items which are introduced by preparation and adoption of the Plan of common and public buildings with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) in the upcoming land consolidation projects. Participants of the workshop were able to fulfill their specific role in the land consolidation project, in particular on preparation and adoption of the Plan of common and public buildings. All participants were introduced with the complexity of the planning process and with sensitivity regarding the relevance of the Environmental Impact Assessment as a part of the land consolidation project.

At Plužina village, Municipality of Svrljig, were organized the tour in order to identify and determine the typical character of the land area for the participants of workshop.

Facing with specific environmental problems in the field and their resolution in terms of the factual situation after the completion of the land consolidation project was a valuable experience for environmental experts, which will use this experience during the preparation of future EIA in land consolidation projects.
