Obtained approval of Air Quality Plan for the Smederevo Agglomeration
Experts from the “Aurora green” Ltd in cooperation with the „Hidroinženiring“ Ltd and „Anahem“ Ltd, made the Air Quality Plan (AQP) for the Smederevo Agglomeration. The global objective is to ensure that the air quality meets the specified requirements in Smederevo and contribute to the achievement of the commitments, which the Republic of Serbia adopted in reducing emissions of pollutants into the air. Specific objectives are: reduce air pollution levels below the specified limit values and target values in areas where such limits are exceeded, keep sub limit level of pollution in areas where there is no crossing of the limit values and target values, meet the recommended values of regional emission.
The AQP contains a comprehensive analysis of geographic, demographic, climate and air quality data in the Smederevo Agglomeration in the last few years. On the basis of all available data and prediction of air quality in the future, the AQP provides a series of measures to improve air quality.
On May, 2018 Ministry of environmental protection issued approval on Air Quality Plan for the Smederevo Agglomeration.
