The waste management plan for client PUC “Zelenilo” Pančevo has been developed
Our expert team, together with the employees of the Public Utility Company “Zelenilo” Pančevo, has developed a Waste Management Plan in the previous period.
PUC “Zelenilo” Pančevo is located in Pančevo and has been operating since 1993, and it’s primary activity is the maintenance and landscaping of public green spaces, parks, and recreational areas.
Waste management has been identified as one of the fundamental and most significant aspects of the company’s environmental policy. The waste management system, among other things, is based on the Waste Management Plan, which includes the identification of all types of waste that are generated or may be generated by the company’s activities, waste collection and storage procedures, waste documentation management, procedures for reducing waste generation (especially hazardous waste), and more.
According to the Waste Management Act, the company is required to develop a Waste Management Plan if it annually produces more than 100 tons of non-hazardous waste or more than 200 kilograms of hazardous waste and to update it every three years.
The development of the Waste Management Plan for the company involved consultants from “Aurora green” Ltd., in cooperation with the person responsible for waste management and other employees of PUC “Zelenilo” Pančevo. The Waste Management Plan covers all activities, equipment, and technical solutions in performing activities relevant to the waste management process, the types of waste that can be produced by performing activities, regulations governing waste management in the Republic of Serbia that are relevant to the company, and more. All activities that have been and will be undertaken to improve the waste management system, with a particular focus on waste prevention measures and/or measures to reduce the amount of waste generated, are also covered by this document.
