“Aurora green” ltd. developed the project “Revision of the cadastre of illegal dumpsites on the territory of the municipality of Boljevac”
During the month of July 2021, the company “Aurora green” ltd. developed the project “Revision of the cadastre of illegal dumpsites on the territory of the municipality of Boljevac”. During the preparation of the cadastre, the locations, number, areas and quantities of deposited waste at landfills were identified, as well as basic data on the landfill itself, which will be used in compiling the plan for remediation of existing landfills.
Inadequate disposal of municipal waste from the territory of the municipality by the population and the economy is done at the local unsanitary landfill “Obla” as well as at 48 illegal dumps. In the previous cadastre from 2017, 60 illegal dumpsites were recorded. Only the number of illegal dumpsites has been reduced, but the quantities of disposed waste are 2.4 times higher today than four years ago, and they total 7,125.8 tons.
