Campaign Launched to Improve Waste Management in the Urban Area of Leskovac Through Modern and Innovative Environmentally Friendly Solutions
On March 20, 2025, an introductory meeting was held at the premises of the City Administration of Leskovac between representatives of Aurora green ltd. and representatives of the City Administration, officially launching the promotional campaign for the implementation of the project Improvement of Waste Management in the Urban Area of Leskovac Through Modern and Innovative Environmentally Friendly Solutions.
The project aims to raise public awareness about the importance of recycling and to improve existing waste management practices through educational and informational activities. The campaign includes the formation of a project and marketing team, cooperation with schools, as well as field activities organized by Aurora green ltd.
As part of the project, research on the current state of recycling will be conducted, educational materials will be created, and a 60-second animated film will be produced and broadcast on social media and local media outlets.
Special attention will be given to children – interactive workshops with creative challenges will be organized in schools, and the most active participants will receive certificates of appreciation.
The project is implemented with the support of the EU PRO program and the UNOPS organization.
