On June 19, 2024, a hybrid training session titled “Decarbonization – Keeping up the pace with sustainability practices” was organized at the premises of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce. This training provided participants with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with key aspects of CBAM (the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism Regulation). Our representatives took part as lecturers, delivering a session dedicated to the methodology of CBAM reporting.
Participants had the chance to hear valuable advice, tips, and guidelines to better prepare for the upcoming challenges in the market. The training covered important topics such as the definition of CBAM, products subject to reporting, the reporting process, and the various methodologies that can be applied. Additionally, an example from the metals industry was presented, which was particularly useful for companies exporting to Germany and the EU.
Among the participants were representatives of renowned companies such as Siemens, ProCredit Bank, Bosch, Brose, and E-reciklaža. This training significantly contributed to enhancing knowledge about sustainable practices and decarbonization, emphasizing the importance of accurate and precise CBAM reporting in modern business.
